• Build trusting relationships with families and provide daily communication regarding feeding, sleeping, developmental milestones, and activities
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate experiences that encourage cognitive, physical, social-emotional, and language development
• Maintain accurate feeding, diapering, and sleeping records
• Ensure all licensing, health, and safety requirements are followed
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers assigned to the classroom
• Observe and document developmental progress
• Collaborate with leadership and fellow teachers to provide exceptional care and learning experiences
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks
• Ability to obtain medical clearance to work with children
• Meet Colorado Early Childhood Teacher qualifications or be willing to obtain qualification assistance through STEM Child Care
• CDA, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field or EQIT coursework
• Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare center
• Strong communication and classroom leadership skills
