STEM Child Care in Castle Rock, CO is looking for a passionate and nurturing Lead Infant Teacher to join our growing team! In this role, you'll help shape the earliest and most critical years of a child's development in a supportive, innovative environment. 📋 Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate, STEM-inspired curriculum for infants
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that supports developmental milestones
- Observe and document each child's growth, behavior, and developmental progress
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily activities and development
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
- Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and health and safety standards
- Collaborate with fellow educators and leadership to continuously improve classroom practices
👩🏻🏫 Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred
- Minimum ECE credits required per Colorado childcare licensing standards
- Prior experience in an infant/toddler classroom setting strongly preferred
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
- Strong understanding of infant and toddler developmental stages and best practices
- Warm, patient, and dependable with a genuine passion for early childhood education
- Ability to pass a required background check per Colorado licensing requirements
